All of our handmade soap products are unique and one of a kind. If you purchase an item from our store, it will not be an exact duplication because of its handmade and unique nature. The soap may vary in color, weight, shape and fragrance. Our bodies are made up of different PH levels and the smell may differ from person to person.

Please note due to the use of natural colorants it is possible that some of our colorants may bleed. 

Our body and hair care products are handcrafted and some batches may be slightly thicker or thinner. Color may vary from batch to batch due to variations in the botanicals used to formulate the ingredients. This does not mean a formula change , nor does it decreases the product effectiveness.  

Our ingredients are updated as frequently as possible. Please refer to the ingredient listing on the packaging of your products to ensure all ingredients are suitable for your needs.


At Southern Handmade Essentials, we believe in the nutritional benefits associated with the All-Natural ingredients in our Handcrafted Soaps and other natural skin care products. We believe that natural products are milder, healthier, and gentler on the skin.

We use pure essential oils and/or fragrance oil, herbs, and other natural ingredients that have been used for centuries. However, we must make this disclaimer:

While many of the herbs, essential oils, and other natural ingredients in our handmade soaps and other products are believed to have healing properties, they are not to be used to self-medicate or treat any form of physical or mental disease or health problem. We do not recommend the use of these products as substitute for medical care.

Please consult your doctor or qualified health professional should you have any concerns and always consult with your doctor before changing any medications or healing practices.


Product may contain nuts and seed oils. Please read ingredients list prior to purchase.

Southern Handmade Essentials is not responsible for any individual reaction to any ingredient. Each products description is on the label and includes a complete list of ingredients. People with sensitivities to any listed ingredient should not use the product. In case you are in doubt or have sensitive skin, always try an allergy patch test and if at any time irritation occurs, discontinue use of the product.

For topical use only: If you are knowingly allergic to any ingredient that we use in our products, and you choose to use it, we are not responsible for any rashes or allergic reactions that may occur. If an allergic reaction or rash does occur, discontinue use immediately.

We accept major credit cards and PayPal. 

Orders will not be processed for shipment until full payment is received by Southern Handmade Essentials. 

All payments made via PayPal is completely secure, we do not have access to any payment or credit card information.  

Please ensure that your shipping information is correct. Southern Handmade Essentials cannot be responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. 

If for any reason, your card payment is not authorized by your bank or Credit Card Company, we will not be able to process your order and it will become immediately cancelled.

We are not responsible for any extra fees added to you credit card by your bank or credit card company for transaction made with us.


Due to the nature of our products, returns and exchanges can not be permitted. However, if there has been a mistake on our part, we will do our best to resolve the issue right away.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to our terms, conditions and policies. You also acknowledge that we cannot be held responsible for misuse of our products. You agree to carefully inspect your order upon arrival and that you will hold harmless Southern Handmade Essentials, Its agents, members, officers… etc. from any liability that may arise from improper storage or use of these products.


Please bear in mind that our order fulfillment and/or shipping systems are designed to get orders on their way quickly and efficiently. Therefore, we cannot change or cancel an order once it has been processed and/or shipped.


All Special-Order Products cannot be cancelled or changed once the order has been received. If for some reason you the customer needs to cancel the order a cancellation/restocking fee will be applied. We charge a 50% flat fee of your total order purchase price depending on the status of the special order at the time you decide to cancel your order.

A Special Order is any order that is Made to Order, or not a stocked item as determined by SHE.


We will never sell or give any of your personal information to a third party.
